It’s own Touring range is available in a variety of lengths, and with powerplants capable of running on HVO or biofuels as well as diesel. Its chassis can also be found under Irizar coaches, which are available through Scania’s own network of dealers in a wide spectrum of specifications, whilst BASE Coach Sales supplies MobiPeople and Beulas coaches to the UK market with Scania chassis. Ayats also offers its Horizon double-deck coach on a Scania chassis in the UK, and the platform is a popular option for the Caetano Levante, as used by National Express.

The manufacturer unveiled its new plug-in hybrid and battery-electric platforms at Busworld; the models will be available soon in the UK. An initial battery-electric chassis with Caetano eLevante bodywork was displayed at Busworld.

Scania advises that the Fencer is also still available to order in the UK, though lead times for delivery are not known. The model remains listed as available in diesel and electric formats.
